The purpose of our Drought Contingency Plan is to encourage and, under emergency conditions, require customer conservation to maintain supply, storage and pressure. Temporary restrictions will be instituted to limit non-essential water usage in cases of extreme drought, periods of abnormally high usage, system contamination, or extended reduction in the ability to supply water due to equipment failure.
