Do not attempt to turn off your water at the meter. If you do not have a cut-off valve on the outside of your house to turn off your own water, you can have the water district turn it off at the meter by calling Customer Service at 281-337-1576, option 1.

No. The Galveston County Water Control and Improvement District #1 is a separate local governmental entity established in 1938. It provides drinking water, wastewater and contracted solid waste collection services to 8,700 households and businesses in the greater Dickinson area.
