Dear Customers,
Welcome to the website of the Galveston County Water Control and Improvement District No.1 (WCID#1) located in Dickinson, Texas. Watch this site for information about "The Water Company". If you need us for emergencies our 24 hour number is our main number, 281-337-1576. If you call that number, either our customer service staff or an on-call operator will contact the right members of our staff to help you.
Our next Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2013 at 6:00 pm the Council Chambers in Dickinson City Hall, Dickinson, TX.

Please Note: We often get customer service requests that are not within our District. We only serve the City of Dickinson, TX and the area immediately around the City. Before you contact us, make sure from your bill that we are your provider as we cannot help you if we are not your water provider. If you write us or contact us, please include your name, service address and an email address or phone number so that we get in touch with you. Thank you.
Updated Drought Information, May 2013:
- Currently, although some conditions have improved statewide, Texas is not completely out of the woods with regard to drought conditions. However, due to recent rainfall, the Brazos River Authority (BRA) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) have now reduced the imposition of water restrictions back to stage 1 Voluntary Restriction and these requirements are now in effect and will continue until further notice. These are voluntary conservation measures that can be found on our Drought Plan tab above. Please do your best to conserve water so as to help reduce our system wide water usage by 5%. Together we can save and conserve this most valuable resource, water
