Dickinson WCID and the Gulf Coast Water Authority (GCWA), our community’s wholesale water provider, have issued their 2025 annual water quality reports. Dickinson WCID’s 2025 report shows that our drinking water meets or exceeds all federal and state standards and is safe.

AmeriWaste, the District’s solid waste service provider, offers green waste pickup during its regular trash pickup schedule.

As part of annual, routine system maintenance, the Gulf Coast Water Authority (GCWA) will temporarily change its water disinfection process from a combination of chlorine and ammonia (chloramine) to chlorine only April 6-20, 2026.

The fire fee on Water District monthly water bills helps purchase and maintain Dickinson Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD) firefighting equipment and personal safety items.

Dickinson’s Water District is working in partnership with the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) to develop a Hazard Mitigation Plan. The public is invited to attend and provide input at its public meeting and via an online survey.
